How we created our AI model
1. Collect educational data from vocational, professional, and academic institutions
For the initial training of the model, we gathered written assignments from various levels of education .
2. Analyze education data and didactic knowledge
Once the model could recognize the important elements of a written assignment, we trained it to provide feedback based on didactic science .
3. Database per subject - Retrieval Augmented Generation
For each field, we use a RAG system to introduce subject knowledge . This allows the model to specialize in economics, Dutch language, software, healthcare, and legal fields.
4. Distinction in education level
One of the final steps is adding specific didactics per education level . Thanks to this, the feedback we provide to vocational students is very different from that aimed at academic students.
5. Collaboration between AI and teacher
Finally, the AI assistant generates specific feedback on the student's assignment. The teacher always has the final say and can adjust the feedback. This way AI and the teacher collaborate!
